ISAACS PUB: OUTDOOR HEATING

Customer brief: To replace existing outdoor Quartz heaters with a more comfortable, cost effective solution.

Background

Isaacs is a busy pub with a waterfront location that also caters for weddings and private parties. The extensive outdoor area was previously heated by numerous Quartz heaters which the owners found to be expensive to run and often uncomfortable for their customers. The owners had recently installed Herschel Far Infrared heaters within their surrounding office buildings so were familiar with the benefits of Far Infrared.

Solution

  • Herschel Aspect IR2 and IR3 heaters were installed on parasols within the outdoor seating areas and also around the big screen area.
  • Brackets were designed to allow the heaters to swivel down with the parasols when they are locked down and not used.
  • Switches have been installed to enable customers to turn on the heaters as required.

  • Customers are comfortably heated as & when they require

    Due to successful installation in Isaacs microbrewery and office, we have now replaced all outdoor heaters reducing each parasol by 1.5kW. We are now providing heat which is more evenly spread, comfortable and invisible which is safe for the patrons eyes, who will socialise under the parasols for hours at a time.
